My Love Story. That is the name of this blog. Why? Because I want my life to be a story of the love God has for His people. I want Him to show His love and power in my weakness. I want to be a vessel for Him to fill and a lump of clay for Him to mold into His image.
He is weaving the most beautiful love story in my life, the story of a redeemed bride and her Bridegroom living out this life together. Jesus is the ultimate romantic. He is overwhelmed by love for me! (And for you) His heart is ravished by just one glace of my eyes! (Song of Songs 4:9) He is the Lover of My Soul! I can not comprehend His great love! I am so undeserving, but He still loves me! Even after all I have done, all the sin I have committed, He still loves me! That blows my mind!
I write to share the story. My story of walking with Him. But in this story, I am not the author. I do not write this love story. Jesus does. He takes my simple little life and weaves it into something extravagant! Something that brings Him glory! So I write of my story in hopes that God will use what He has taught me to teach you. To draw you closer to Him. To His heart. Because it's not about me or my opinions. Or your opinions. The only opinion that truly matters is His.
So let His words speak into your life. Don't just take my word for it. Search out what is written here in His Word. Keep me accountable. Because it's His Word that changes us. A million of my words can't even compare to one of His.
So, here I go. Me and Jesus. On a journey into the very heart of God. As He writes my love story.
